a special message from our director

We want to take this opportunity to communicate a special message from our founder and director, Daren Overstreet:

I pray this email finds you well, joyful and vibrant in Christ.  Despite Satan’s relentless attempts to marginalize Christians today, the Gospel of Jesus can never be silenced, it’s fruit can never be dried up.  Our role as believers today is to faithfully, lovingly and respectfully engage culture while staying true to God’s will and design for our lives and churches as laid out in scripture.

With that in mind, I have a special request, and I’m hoping you can help.  A small group of ICOC campus ministers want to partner with Biblically Resilient to start a podcast.  This is GREAT news!  We’ve been praying for this to happen.  We have found that young people today are eager for clarity around biblical truth, and this will help our message reach more people that need it.  THING IS…we are all volunteers and can only do what we can afford.  We simply don’t have the money to get this endeavor started, but are confident the Lord will provide.  Would you be able to help?

To get started, we really need about $2,000.00.  It’s not a lot, but it will allow us to get things going and get the word out to a broader audience.  Young people today are listening to podcasts, and this will bear fruit in tangible ways.  College students and campus ministers just don’t have any money!  This is where you come in.  Can you help?  

Proverbs 11:25 says “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”  With our collective generosity, I believe we can not only meet this goal, but even provide enough to offer more resources like webinars, videos and articles.  It will refresh so many people, young and old.

Over the last 2. years I have had the privilege of speaking to over 1,000 young people about the topic of Progressive Theology, standing firm in biblical truth and navigating culture with firm convictions. Honestly, they inspire me. They are the future. They want to know why they believe what they believe, and they desire a church that is clear about biblical morality. This podcast will help us reach many more and is an answer to prayer.
